We're talking someone who has never been DC in any capacity (started interning for his dad with the Chargers in 2017, then hopped around Jets, Texans, Ravens, was secondary coach and safety coach). Yes, he's worked with great DCs (Rex Ryan, Harbaugh) but his inexperience is a flag for me. Shouldn't we get someone who is at least familiar with college football, who has experience as DC? Why do we settle for throwing up prayers and hoping they are answered (Seriously, Dimitri, how many sentences contained "he’s going to have to figure out"?). Giving that it's the Chipster making this move, I have even more reason to doubt that it'll work out... hope he proves me wrong, but I see no reason atm to celebrate this possible hire
