it's like you ignored 90% of this thread. John Wooden or Coach K themselves would not be getting instant impact freshmen with the state of NIL. It's so bad that Cronin has made seven offers TOTAL to high school seniors for next season. It's actually very similar to when Cronin recruited Jaime Jaquez at Cincinnati. He said he knew he had no shot because of what he had to offer, but it was worth a call because it was Jaime. Do you are expect 18 year old kids, most of whom (almost all of whom?) do not come from wealthy backgrounds, to turn down half a million dollars cash because it is some special honor to wear the four letters.
