And beyond getting rid of Chip, who do you hire when you are cash strapped. It’s hardly an ideal situation to rebuild a program under a new coach. I’m pulling for Chip to get his mojo back, because I think it’s the quickest way back to relevance, based upon the current circumstances.

Army, that would be the best, if Chip could get his "mojo" back. The lackluster recruiting, his arrogance, and his record aren't doing him any favors. Chip got hired to win big. That needs to happen soon.
I think, from the beginning, there’s been a disconnect between fan expectations and Chip Kelly’s plans. As fans, we were anticipating Oregon Chip. Chip chose UCLA over Florida. I think he was looking to rebuild a program that didn’t have a lot of expectations. He wanted, and got, almost total control. He may have thought that the fanbase would be more patient. Perhaps we would be more patient had the first two years just been mediocre as opposed to bad. We need to recruit a few difference makers. Offensively, we move the ball well when we play quickly. Our defense is much improved. We are capable of beating SC. Let’s get it done.
Army, I agree about the defense. It went from horrid to decent. I think a lot of that has to do with Norwood. Last week, Chip tried to give Azzinaro the credit, LOL. Beating SC would take away some of the BBS-Battered Bruin Syndrome that I have suffered the last few years with football.
