It’s been more than a year since the UCLA Bruins last won a football game. In fact, the Bruins’ last win came against today’s opponent, the Colorado Buffaloes. The Buffs have a new coach in former UCLA head coach Karl Dorrell. But, the big question today is: “Have the Bruins gotten any better under Chip Kelly since the end of last season when they lost the last three games of the season?”
This afternoon, we’ll get an idea.
Game Time Weather Forecast
The forecast for today’s game is about as good as you can get for Boulder in November. It will be clear and the temperature will be a cool 61° degrees at kickoff with no wind chill factor to note.
Look for it to slip into the upper 50s around halftime and expect it to continue dropping to around 55° by the end of the game.

Beth Mowins doesn't even know who are players are without the nameplates. Zero homework. She makes a general statement, like "UCLA defense makes the play," then there is a 5-10 second pause as she checks the media guide for the name of the player who made the tackle. LOL. Any UCLA football fan could do better than her.
I don’t blame her for that. Most National PbP people aren’t going to know players on various teams to begin with, and she’s now got the double-handicap of not having a spotter in the booth (because they’re calling the game remotely) and most of the UCLA players not having their nameplates.
Ok, the chronological option isn't working so well now. They are arranged well once I refresh the page, but the new comments come in at the top and are at the opposite end of the thread from the most recent comment.
Yeah. I feel dumb complaining since I couldn't make it into any of the test game threads but the bigger numbers will be a better demo here anyway. And the thread is still working a hell of a lot better than our defense anyway.
I've missed the people a ton, but reading Cam's stuff over there is just so meh. I haven't commented there in months, but I did put up a fan post yesterday just to link to orlando's PGGs.
DTR is making a lot of throws off his back foot or falling back, and it's not due to people in his face. He just got lucky he didn't have his second INT. Where's Evan to help me understand this?

Pleasantries out of the way.....still no offensive line to establish a running game and give DTR a reason not to throw the ball, or think he has to do everything.

DTR has not learned a thing in 21 games. He looks like a true freshman in his first game out there. He officially a BUST. Sit his read end down.
You can anticipate early season rust, but this is levels beyond that.
