I don't know if Karl Dorrell got even a week of spring football in with his new team before everything here shut down, and Boulder is under really really strict limitations on gatherings right now (not surprised in the least that there was a huge outbreak when students got to campus there) and that is limiting practice size. We are going to get the Buffs as raw as possible. Really bummed not to be able to be in the stands to see my Bruins this year, though.
The Big-12 is cannabalizing itself so far this year though, so presuming the given 2 spots for the SEC and Ohio St fills its annual reservation, there's a really good shot Oregon gets into the playoff if they run the table.
If the SEC gets two spots, the Pac-12 would need the Big Ten (Ohio State/Penn State) and ACC (Clemson/Notre Dame/Miami) to falter.
Plus with everything that has happened this year, and the schedule, it feels like the Pac-12's best playoff chance is...Southern Cal. I'd be ok with losing out on that playoff money in that scenario.

You're right. I always forget Clemson is ACC.
I'd also rather $c flame out than see them be our only shot at the playoff. Some things just aren't worth the price.
