For $1M+, the bar should be set high for Jarmond.

Money is a non-issue. Guerrero's base salary was $984,667. I doubt if anyone would want to come in for less money to clean up the doughnut's mess. It's a high profile job in a high profile city.

I fully expect Jarmond to do well. Not only does he have to fix some poorly performing programs (hello, Chip), he'll have the task of starting up the fall and winter sports in city turned upside down because of the pandemic and civil unrest. Better him than Guerrero at the reins, that's for damn sure.

Jarmond is definitely stepping into a shitshow (and think where we were just 5-10 years ago), but I'd rather take my chances with him than imagine what greater miseries our former AD would have created.

Regardless if it's $1M+ or more, the bar for a U.C.L.A. AD should always be set high.
