Tonight, UCLA needs to show some improvement on defense.
The Huskies are a 2.5-point favorite despite being the road team. Normally, home field advantage usually accounts for about a 3-point advantage for the home team, but this game is being played at the Rose Bowl where UCLA hasn’t really had much of a home field advantage this season. Personally, I think this point spread is way too low. Barring a phenomenal game by the UCLA defense, I think Washington is going to win this game by at least two touchdowns.
Let’s look at the game time weather forecast.
Game Time Weather Forecast
Expect it to be a comfortable 72° degrees at the Rose Bowl at kickoff. The temperature should still be about 69° around halftime and it should slip a few more degrees to somewhere in the upper 60s by the fourth quarter.

Of course the previous game is going to OT and potentially delaying our coverage, and I blame that noted Bruin hater Beth Mowins who is doing the play by play.
Tulane does us a favor and wins in the first OT. BSPN takes advantage by getting all excited about tomorrow's SEC games instead of previewing the 2 undefeated west coast teams they are televising in 5 minutes.
This is a great barometer game. The next 3 upcoming games mean a lot to UCLA. Ahead there is Utah and Oregon after this game. I would’ve taken the points and attempted the field goal, but the Chipper will Chip. Great safety. Let’s Go!!

Well, can our Bruins defend? Tonight will tell.
Beth Mowins OMG the Female Harry Carry of college football I just can listen to her no matter whose playing
TFL on play #1 for our D. Nice start!
I sense a bad night, friend bruins. I'm on the wrong coast and will hang in as long as I can and my beer holds out.
Defense is looking a bit holy
Geez, burned deep on a 4th and 6 for a TD. Not a promising series.
Typical crap defense on 3rd or 4th down.
Well that was disappointing
Suck!
Oof. Kirkwood just got beat.
I was about to write something nice about the D, but damn
Big return plus 15 more. Nice
Whoopee!
Choke in tve red zone
Man I hate those 2nd and 3rd down play calls. Give the ball to Charbonet on the goalline
"the metrics say go for it." means it's probably a bad idea.
Pass protection not looking good at all
Dammit. Our best offensive player didn't touch the ball after 1st down
Shit, UW with the lead, the ball, and momentum
Anyone that wants to defend DTR, please explain him staring down the left side of the field, the whole play? 😖
Holy poop! A safety!
Yay for safety. Boo for no TD, last drive.
Safety!!!
Well 2 instead of 3 and getting the ball back.
This is gonna be a weird one, isn’t it?
What a horrible play on their free kick. Geez.

Nice Bobo!
DTR has been great with the straight drops when he has time.
Yay!
I thought our guy got hit in the earhole
It looks the defender's shoulder on the replay
Charbs!
Whoo hoo Zach!
Gee, give 24 the ball. What a concept!
There ya go!!! Touchdown, Bruins!!!
TD!
Breathing normally again
All that power, Charbonett is something special.
Good! Smart call to feed the future NFL back within the 5 instead of getting cute. Now let’s get a stop
Offsides twice???
Bruins dialing up a lot of blitzes
Washington running the USA game plan.
Cornerbacks need to play a bit closer to the receivers. Overall the defensive game plan hasn’t been too bad. Fingers crossed
