I did a Softball schedule preview fan post on Bruins Nation. This team reminds me of the glory years of UCLA Basketball. 4 Pitchers that could start on other teams. Depth at every position. Speed and power throughout the lineup. Coach KIP's biggest problem for the next 2 years will be which .300+ hitters sits and balancing playing time. in spite of that, UCLA didn't lose anyone to transfer.
Interesting format with the 4 game series in conference play. It sort of makes sense that Larry Scott's conference only counts for 3/4ths haha. Anyway, good luck to our awesome softball team. With Rachel and Bubba coming back, I wonder if we've ever had a team this stacked going into the season? Looking forward to it. Go Bruins!
