This is a great update. The NCAA website is awful. Thank you.

So this is supposed to be the site for the 2028 Olympics? The lights have gone out twice while the Bruins are at bat in the first. Ironic for a stadium named OGE Energy Field.

Should’ve challenged that call at first that came around to score eventually.

I thought so too. Ooof.

KIP being KIP. Bad game management is par for the course.

Tell us you know nothing about our university... Stupid BSPN announcer calling us a party school and a disco school so far. But as usual they have us on as the latest game so not many will hear that garbage.

Ugh, Bruins miss a big chance to pad the lead in the 6th with runners at 2nd and 3rd with one out but get nothing out of it.

Time to close it out, Bruins.

Never want to make the third out at third base.

gbruin's avatar

True. The third base runner basically had to try to go home once the runner at second was picked off and headed for third.

Obstruction is a really stupid rule.

Joe Piechowski's avatar

I don't understand how there can be obstruction when the catcher has the damn ball.

gbruin's avatar

UCLA gets hosed by a terrible obstruction call at home. Our catcher had the ball well ahead of the Oregon runner and made the easy tag, but Oregon challenges and the fucking umps reverse the call. Game is now tied 2-2 in the seventh.

Joe Piechowski's avatar

It wouldn't have mattered if KIP had challenged the play at first base earlier in the game.

LBJon's avatar

Even the announcer made the point about the ball being there early enough for the tag, but she abandoned that POV and eventually agreed with the ultimate call. Total lack of common sense. Announcing has bad throughout the postseason.

Clements walks off with a 2 run HR!!!

Kind of sucks for Oregon to have to play an elimination game in less than 19 hours.
