While the narrative of the article was correct, the original version of the table incorrectly labeled the AP Poll as the Coaches Poll and the Coaches Poll as the AP Poll. Also, the list of others receiving votes was incorrect. Each poll is now correctly labeled and the list of others receiving votes has also been corrected.

Side note: There was a kerfuffle re how the turnstiles were counted -- with Dimitri reporting that they're only reporting paying ticket sales. There is no folly in either approach because the latter is more in line with CEO/AD Harris's philosophy of giving student free admission! Watch this, folks! He's going to kick some a$$!

As to his milestone, his goal is to "burn the tarps" and put butts in those seats! From what I saw over NBC (along with a broadcast festooned with commercial breaks and very little savvy at the hands of the UCLA-ignoramuses calling the game), there was a crowd at the far end of the RB practically gnawing on the edges of those big blue obscenities!

Our time is now and it, and while the Bruins conquered the B1G halfway by going undefeated and widely noted that there are no undefeated teams in the B1G* and the SEC.

OK.

While I want to see the Bruins make the playoffs and even go deep, it's is all gravy from now on.

GO BRUINS!

*Stupidest name in the world for a football conference that used to be the "BIG 10" bit now is the BIG 4 and the little 14....or whatever!

My understanding is that they are counting tickets scanned not just "paid tickets." As a result, student attendance should be included in the announced number.

Joe, good call on UCLA beating the spread against Wisconsin. I went to the casino Sat morning to make bets but held off on UCLA. Like you, I had bet on UCLA to cover in the prior games.

I wanted to see how the QB situation shook out. Wisconsin's stout run defense also factored in.

I didn't anticipate such a strong showing by Dieffenbach. If this is how he's going to play, he certainly will limit the impact of losing Nico going forward

Now comes the questions.

Can Ty be better than Nico? He seems far more decisive with his reads. He did get sped up in the 3rd quarter causing some misreads and poor throws, but for the most part, he was getting the ball out quicker than I had seen from Nico.

Ty's arm strength looks good. I'm hoping he has the ability to throw accurately out to 40+ yards.

Can Ty compete with Nico for the starting QB job next season? I guess we'll find out.

Yeah, its probably premature to say, but if Ty steps up and builds upon these 2 games and becomes a legit starting D1 QB, what does this mean for the Iamaleave brothers? If I'm not mistaken, Ty and Nico have 1 more season of eligibility. Madden has 2 more seasons of eligibility. Do the Iamaleava brothers transfer if Dieffenbach moves to the top of the QB depth chart? Somebody is going to have to give Ty an NIL deal and its probably going to come from the current Iamaleava deals.

Interesting stuff to think about.

I'm going to go there.

I think Dieffenbach is actually a better overall quarterback and a much better passer than Nico is. Nico, however, might be the better overall athlete.

Maybe Dean Kennedy will figure out a way to keep them both on the field when Nico is healthy enough to play again.
