The UCLA Bruins have moved into the Top Ten after beating Wisconsin last night, 17-7, and benefitting from half of the Top Ten teams losing yesterday. The Bruins are now ranked ninth in the AP Poll and tenth in the USA Today Coaches Poll.
Yesterday, Georgia, Notre Dame, Indiana, Texas and Alabama all lost, resulting in a big reshuffling of the Top Ten in both polls. Miami is the new #1 team in the land, followed by BYU and Ohio State in the AP Poll while the Buckeyes edged the Cougars in the Coaches poll. The Fighting Irish landed at fourth, followed by Georgia in the AP poll while Georgia was fourth in the Coaches Poll followed by undefeated Texas Tech.
In both polls, Indiana fell to sixth while Ole Miss jumped to seventh. Texas Tech was eighth in the AP Poll despite receiving a single first-place vote and the Irish fell to eighth in the Coaches Poll.
The Bruins jumped up to nine in the AP Poll, followed by Utah at #10, but the Utes edged out UCLA for the ninth spot in the Coaches Poll.
As far as other Big Ten schools go, Iowa moved up two spots in the both polls. The Hawkeyes are now 15th in the AP Poll and 14th in the Coaches Poll where they jumped over Southern Cal who stayed ranked 15th. The Trojans climbed three spots to 16th in the AP Poll, despite having the week off. Northwestern moved up to 24th in the AP and entered the Coaches poll ranked 23rd. Oregon continues to be ranked 25th in the Coaches Poll but did not receive enough votes to be ranked by the AP.
Nebraska, Michigan and Wisconsin all received votes in the Coaches Poll but none of them received any votes in the AP Poll.
Here are both complete Top 25 polls:

UCLA’s next game will be this Saturday, October 24 at the Rose Bowl against the Michigan State Spartans. Kickoff time is set for 12:30 pm PT and the game will be broadcast on CBS.

Side note: There was a kerfuffle re how the turnstiles were counted -- with Dimitri reporting that they're only reporting paying ticket sales. There is no folly in either approach because the latter is more in line with CEO/AD Harris's philosophy of giving student free admission! Watch this, folks! He's going to kick some a$$!

As to his milestone, his goal is to "burn the tarps" and put butts in those seats! From what I saw over NBC (along with a broadcast festooned with commercial breaks and very little savvy at the hands of the UCLA-ignoramuses calling the game), there was a crowd at the far end of the RB practically gnawing on the edges of those big blue obscenities!
Our time is now and it, and while the Bruins conquered the B1G halfway by going undefeated and widely noted that there are no undefeated teams in the B1G* and the SEC.
OK.
While I want to see the Bruins make the playoffs and even go deep, it's is all gravy from now on.
GO BRUINS!
*Stupidest name in the world for a football conference that used to be the "BIG 10" bit now is the BIG 4 and the little 14....or whatever!
The AP poll on the ESPN website shows UCLA at #9.
