UCLA Football Headed to 2021 Holiday Bowl
The Bruins will play in the San Diego-based game for just the second time.
The UCLA Bruins are officially going bowling for the first time in the Chip Kelly era. The Bruins will face the North Carolina State Wolfpack in the Holiday Bowl on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at Petco Park in San Diego. Kickoff is set for 5 pm PT and the game will air on FOX.
This will be the first time UCLA has played in a bowl game since 2017.
This will just be the Bruins’ second appearance in the Holiday Bowl. In 2012, UCLA lost to Baylor, 49-26.
In other UCLA football news, respected Oregonian columnist John Canzano expects Chip Kelly to be a top target to replace Ducks’ head coach Mario Cristobal if Cristobal leaves for Miami as expected.
At this point, there are a lot of differing reports coming out of Miami which still has not fired Manny Diaz. But the expectation is that the Hurricanes will hire both Cristobal and Clemson AD Dan Radakovich as their next athletic director.
For now, though, Bruin fans will just have to wait and see what happens.

Congrats on the Holiday Bowl.
I need to ask you guys a favor. I got Rose Bowl tickets and wondering if anyone could recommend a hotel to stay in the area that's not too overpriced, but still quality.
Just got my tickets and room for the game! First time ever going to a bowl game. Part of me kind of wished ucla fell to the jimmy kimmel bowl so we wouldn’t have had to travel so far but the holiday bowl is pretty prestigious!
