UCLA Falls in Both Polls After Loss to Arizona
Predictably, the Bruins exit the Top Ten in response to loss to an unranked team.
UCLA has fallen in both polls after the Bruins’ loss to Arizona State last night. The team is now ranked 16th in both the AP Poll and the Coaches Poll. The Bruins are now ranked below both Utah and Washington, teams they beat earlier in the season.
There were no changes in the Top Five teams this week.
Southern Cal moved to sixth in the Coaches Poll and seventh in the AP Poll as a result of Oregon’s loss to Washington. LSU also moved up for that reason. The Tigers are sixth in the AP Poll and seventh in the Coaches Poll.
Utah, which was ranked 13th in both polls, climbed to 10th in both following losses by Oregon, UCLA and Ole Miss. Washington was rewarded after beating Oregon and the Huskies are now ranked 15th. Oregon State has re-entered the AP Poll this week at 24th.
Here’s the complete Top 25 from both polls:
The Bruins will play their final home game of the season when they host Southern Cal next Saturday at the Rose Bowl. The game will air nationally on Fox and will kickoff at 5:00 pm PT.
Go Bruins.

We need a coach that can recruit and coach Defense. Any chance we can clone Mick Cronin?
They didn't fall enough but next week's loss will move them completely out. They didn't deserve to be there in the first place. Not a good team. The dilemma is, since I'm pretty sure they are going to lose to the Trogans, should I hope for a blowout like 52-14 so the UCLA Admin finally opens both eyes and fires Chip Kelly or should I hope for a closer game in which they may keep Kelly for another year at least. Since next year will be bad no matter who the coach is (mainly due to the pathetic recruiting record Kelly has accumulated) and the following year we move to the Big-10, I am leaning towards the blowout.
