Today’s game will be UCLA’s toughest so far this season.
The Ducks are a 6.5-point favorite despite having lost a game already this season.
The Bruins won’t just be going up against Oregon today. They are also up against the weather. It’s going to be a typical Oregon day — cold and wet. That means it will be good day for ducks, but not necessarily the Ducks, who are facing the second toughest team they’ve played this season in UCLA.
Today’s game could be a shootout where the last team to score wins, or the weather could wreck havoc on the game with lots of turnovers. I think the Bruins will maintain their composure like they have all season and I look for DTR to lead the team on a long, late drive to win the game.
Let’s look at the game time weather forecast.
Game Time Weather Forecast
Expect it to be about 50°, though it will feel colder due to the rain, for kickoff. In fact, it will be rainy throughout the game. The rain looks to be the hardest right around halftime. So, watch out for turnovers late in the first half and early in the second half. The temperature should go up a few degrees and be in the low 50s around halftime and will remain that way throughout the second half.

Grind it out running teams? TOP a key? So maybe this won't be 100 combined points after all. But it will be a "hold serve" game. Need points every time we get the ball.
That was on Medrano, #20. Missed assignment.
Water polo?
Wasn't first choice. DTR's decision.
Yep Keegan was a check down.
Yeah we were lucky to even get back to the LOS on that throw to Jones

Clap! Clap! Fight! Fight! Fight!
Clap! Clap!

Clap! Clap!
Corso put on the duck head. That has to bode well, right?
Bruins kick off...lets go defense!!!
Not terrible. Bend don't break defense on thier first possession. Now let's score a TD.
Let’s get a TD!
I love Zach
Hmm. We are a VERY GOOD offensive team.
Argh, TD called back for a hold but it was the right call.
Followed by another flag. Ugh!
Yup. Self-inflicted damage. That was a really nice drive up to that point.
Penalties!
Ok. 3-3 is fine. Would have loved the TD but the offense should feel confident.
Agree we moved the ball well. Damn penalties. Home crowd will be a factor though. We need this at the RB
I was thinking the same. It is such an advantage for the home team.
OK I’m sold on our K
To much old DTR down by the end zone....
He threw a touchdown. Duh.
That last throw seemed a bit impatient. It wasn't there, so no need to force it.
Our D swarms
Broken plays
Just back from shopping. I guess that is my fault.
Just make up for it now.
Got mt Cargo Cult coconuts on.
Lato needed to keep Nix contained. This could be a long day for our D if they don't.

K-rap! Too easy!
Ouch!
That was a clever play
Now we absolutely need the TD.
DTR looking iffy today so far. A few forced near ints
Not a good pass to Allen that time.
Dodged a bullet on that one
Our receiver got shoved out of bounds and had to come back in on that play. Should’ve been flag on Oregon
Short throws look good though
Should have been an illegal contact on the DB
Let’s nickel and dime them to death
Or not....
That was still a shorter pass
Touchdown!!!
F yeah!!!
Wow what a run!
Catch and run :)
I meant the wheels after the run. En fuego!
Touchdown!
Shootout time!
Thank you coconuts!
Great response!!
Jones with the afterburners.
An off the wall observation: Charbs being soooo dependable has made DTR not panic and think he needs to do it all.
Great drive. Tough place to play. We DO have a football team! Go Bruins!
Offense is looking great
This game will come down to a key turnover or two
All the pressure is on the home team…let’s see them grip
C'mon D!
D doing ok but giving up too many big rush plays that let Oregon off the hook
Who's the spy on Nix? Doesn't look there is one.
Nix is scary - we haven’t been able to contain
Need to hit him hard…he feels too comfortable
If you get beat, tackle the WR
Penetration is missing. Last week we were getting in but missing the tackle.
That was break-don't-bend. Bring back bend-don't-break.
D getting torched. Need to hold serve here.
Damnnnn
And the D is back on the field. Crap!
That’s not great
Yeah, beyond turnovers or penalties, our special teams could lose this for us.
Need D to step up here
We just didn't hold serve.
Yeah that was bad
Step up, defense
