This afternoon, the UCLA Bruins will look to close out the 2022 regular season on a high note when they play the Golden Bears in Berkeley. UCLA is looking for its first nine-win season since 2014.
The Bruins are a 10-point favorite today and the over/under is set at just 61.
It looks like the Bruins will again be without defensive coordinator Bill McGovern, even though McGovern did make an appearance at practice earlier this week.
So, I expect the Bruin defense to continue to struggle in his absence. That means that UCLA will need the offense to pick up the slack. Will they be able to do that against a tough Berkeley run defense?

Following last weekend’s end of daylight savings time, it will be warmer than the past few games in Pasadena tonight. Expect it to be about 66° for kickoff. The temperature will drop a few degrees to about 65° at halftime before dropping into the upper 50s by the end of the game.

I think these Berkeley unis are the Joe Roth 70s era throwbacks they wear at least once a season - he was their QB around the same time Chuck Muncie was their star RB who kept playing after a cancer diagnosis and died a few months after his final game
I can't complain about the offense, but this defense drags. Someone mentioned, perhaps we don't have the horses to execute at this level. We are limited on defensive stars which shows. It reflects our lack of attention/aggressiveness in our efforts to brings in these game changing studs.
Shout out to RB coach Deshaun Foster, one of the UCLA greats himself! He has these running backs playing at a high level. I am impressed by the freshmen Harden. When a unit is playing collectively at such a high level, refer to coaching.
