For what its worth, the various Sirius College Sports Network hosts I've heard have mostly speculated that Nova is focused on Willard given (a) his rant against the NIL program/AD a week ago and (b) he's still coaching Maryland in the Sweet 16 which, putting 2 and 2 together, is why they believe Nova hasn't announced a hire even with the portal open... guess we'll know soon enough...
Well Xavier just hired Pitino. I fear that if Cronin leaves, it's going to be late in the carousel and we have no backup plan like in football. The joke someone made about Earl Watson is not that unrealistic. Petros and Money mentioned that a Cronin extension is being discussed, which I imagine would be a requirement for him staying.
