MULTIPLE REPORTS: Kelly Out as UCLA Head Coach
It looks like Kelly will still be coaching in the Big Ten, as reports indicate he will become the new offensive coordinator at Ohio State.
There are multiple reports this morning that Chip Kelly is leaving Westwood to become the offensive coordinator at Ohio State.
Bruin Report Online is reporting that Kelly held a team meeting and informed the players this morning.
This really leaves UCLA in a tough spot as the coaching carousel for 2023 has already wrapped up.
Regardless, Kelly’s tenure in Westwood will go down as one of the worst in the history of the program.
More details as this story develops.

If this holds,
No Chip = huge win
Chip has to pay UCLA $1.5M to buyout contract = small win
Leaving HC position for OC position = damning statement on condition of UCLA football
Chip leaving now = very few quality HCs given the cycle of hiring just ended
This is all on Jarmond and he should be next out the door. Renewing Chip was a disaster.
The sad part is as Yahoo Sports Bromberg reports "The Bruins' 2024 recruiting class ranks just 83rd in the country and when you count transfers along with recruits, UCLA only moves up to 69th in Rivals' rankings." In addition, Jarmond "sincerely thanked Chip for his service over the last six seasons"--excuse me while I vomit.
