To me, it’s despicable. Kelly used the program like a parasite who needs a host body to survive. First, in order to get hired he duped the then AD, who had just been given a UM windfall, to immediately hire him or he would sign somewhere else. Second, he has always skated through coaching UCLA. It was evident from the start. I think this issue is systemic and I don’t see things getting better no matter who they hire as long as both the chancellor and the AD remain.

You.absolutely.nailed.it. Now you tell Wasserman and Aikman, to their face, how they could have been conned to such pitiful extent ???

To the slight defense of Wasserman (who I really don't give a crap about) and Aikman (who I will always revere, being a student during his 2 seasons at QB), hiring Chip at the time was a reasonable move. He was widely considered a top get and was seemingly motivated for redemption after a meh NFL run.

The mistake that was hard to see was that Chip, who was already known to be a questionable recruiter, was stubborn and inflexible and arrogant and was wholly unfit to deal with the coming changes in college football, at least some of which could have been predicted.

Completely agree, the Chancellor will be gone in June, so that eliminates Blockhead. The problem is Jelly 2.0 Jarmond. He needs to be removed as well. As for the other two, Wasserman and Aikman, especially Wasserman. I don't think you will be hearing much from them going forward as they have already put their foots in their mouths too many times to even be credible at this point and no amount of cash will change that fact.
