Tonight’s game is an important one in determining who will play in the Pac-12 Championship Game in two weeks. UCLA needs a win to keep their hopes of making that game alive after the Bruins came out flat against the Arizona Wildcats last weekend.
The Bruins are a 2.5-point underdog tonight and the over/under is set at 75.5. I do think this game will be a shootout and the last team to score will win this game.
It looks like the Bruins will again be without defensive coordinator Bill McGovern, who has been MIA for nearly a month with an undisclosed illness. According to Ben Bolch of the LA Times, McGovern was not at practice earlier this week and his status for Saturday is in doubt as a result.
So, I expect the Bruin defense to continue to struggle in his absence. That means that UCLA will need the offense to pick up the slack. Will they be able to after a lackluster performance last week against Arizona?
Let’s look at the game time weather forecast.
Game Time Weather Forecast
Following last weekend’s end of daylight savings time, it will be warmer than the past few games in Pasadena tonight. Expect it to be about 65° for kickoff. The temperature will drop a few degrees to be about 60° a halftime and it should drop a few more degrees into the upper 50s by the end of the game.

TuneIn.com now has UCLA’s football games listed as “premium” content. So, rather than using TuneIn, you can just listen through the official website like we have done with the small sports for a long time in order to listen to Josh Lewin, Matt Stevens and Wayne Cook call today’s game instead of Gus Johnson and Joel Klatt on Fox. Johnson is one of the best announcers in college football these days and Klatt offers useful analysis. So, why would you want to? If you really want to, be sure to right-click on it so that you can open up another tab and have it going while you chat in the comments below. Listen to today’s game online.
In the meantime, here’s how to watch, listen and stream tonight’s game.

Coaching gets whole lot of blame, but coaching doesn't play. Coaching doesn't miss tackles. Coaching doesn't commit penalities. It's been the same shit for 30 years, just change the names on the jersey. Haven't had a really olid D since the Donahue era and will never, ever make a serious run in Big 10 or in CFP without a Defense.

Chip didn’t turn the ball over 4 times.
He personally handed them three points. What was the margin of victory?
I hope he’s ok, but something tells me the competitor in DTR would take an injury to beat SC. He’s really toughened up over the years
It's the last real game for him; no way he misses any of it
Why does our band let them play so much? So frustrating
Part II
Return of
The defender landed on his back! How was that not called?!
Yeah he did call TO on the replay! What’s he complaining about loll
Some things never change!

Howdy, BB!
Hey, Jim-- long time no talk LOL
Let’s go Bruins!!!
Is Charb good to go?
C'mon Bruins!
Let's go, Bruins!!
So Lincoln Riley taking half of the Oklahoma team through transfer portal makes him a genius?
Rules need to be changed. He destroyed the Oklahoma team.
He sure as hell wasn't gonna succeed with last year's trogans
Block in the back
3rd down-- let's go, D!!
Fuck! We had him! We'd be deadly if our defense could only tackle smdh
Tbf this is how he’s been getting away from tackles all season. He’s much better at slipping tackles than DTR.
When you have both arms around a player, you should be able to tackle that player imho
Once again good penetration but no tackle.
LOL SUC had the first down but decided to run backwards
The ref helping us with D!
STOPPED!
DENIED!!
Woooo!!!!!
Atta Bruin!
That was yuuuge!
HUGE!
And then a false start.. smh
C’mon offense, let’s get it going from the start!
3 and out :-(
That penalty killed us!
Yuck
How was he that wide open?
Only rushing 3 too.
UCLA's coaching staff has one hand tied behind their back and they were missing one to begin with.
Wow, that fade went nowhere
Wtf???
SHANK!!!
YES!!!
Yay!
Shankappotomus
Good outcome, but we need the O to show up as we all know we’re not going to win with D
Let DTR run to get some momentum
Hey, shout-out to Joe who pretty much called this in his earlier article on special teams!
To Joe!
Need to get a good, ling drive and give the D a reat....oh, and score
Gotta hold on to those
Receivers need to step up and hang on to some these passes.
First down-- yes!!
Let's go, Bruins!!
Calm down, DTR-- just got warned for taunting
Woohoo, Bobo!
Running game moving!
Good couple of runs by jones turning nothing into something
You can't stop Charbonnet-- you can only hope to contain him!
Charb!
