UCLA Women’s Golf Opens Play in NCAA Championships
The 21st-ranked Bruins will begin their quest for #120 in Scottdale, Arizona today.
After finishing tied for second at the Louisville Regional, the UCLA women’s golf team will now compete in the NCAA Championships which are being hosted by Arizona State at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona.
The Bruins finished up the NCAA Regional by shooting a 11-over 875.
Now, UCLA squares off against the top 24 teams in the country in Arizona. Today, tomorrow, and Sunday will feature stroke play beginning at 6:30 am PT with the last tee time each day at 1:20 pm PT. The top 15 teams and nine individuals will advance to the final round of stroke play on Monday, May 24, with tee times starting at 10 am PT.
The top eight teams will advance to quarterfinal and semifinal match play on Tuesday, May 21, beginning at 6:20 am PT with the championship on Wednesday, May 22. The Golf Channel will cover the final round of stroke play and all rounds of match play.
