UCLA Women's Basketball News Roundup: Bruins Set for Second Round Matchup Against Richmond
OK, so even though the game thread has already posted, I’m still going to publishh this now, because it makes no sense to share the press conference footage after tonight’s game. So, while we’re waiting for tonight’s game to tip off, let’s begin where we left off on Friday night.
After the game, UCLA women’s basketball head coach Cori Close met with the media along with Bruins Kiki Rice and Janiah Barker. This video is courtesy of the NCAA/March Madness on YouTube.
Earlier that night, Richmond defeated Georgia Tech to advance to tonight’s second round game against the Bruins.

Yesterday was an off-day for both teams, but they both practiced at Pauley and met with the media again as well. The off-day presser has both UCLA and Richmond in the same video. So, first up is UCLA’s Cori Close along with Lauren Betts and Gabriela Jaquez. When Coach Close wraps up, you’ll want to fast-forward to the 42-minute mark because there’s about 12 minutes of waiting if you don’t fast-forward.
