Davis Mills carved up the Bruin defense in the first half and Stanford leads UCLA, 20-3. Mills completed 12 of 15 passes for 185 yards. Stanford scored on three of the four first half possessions.
Each Stanford scoring drive ended with a short run. Two of the Cardinal’s three touchdowns came from a one-yard plunge by Austin Jones who bookended a two-yard run by Isaiah Sanders.
Meanwhile, the Bruin offense, which is missing Demetric Felton tonight, has been unable to find the end zone. UCLA also had four first half possessions. Two of those possessions ended with a punt while the other two ended with field goal attempts. Nicholas Barr-Mira hit a 31-yard attempt in the first quarter, but missed a 37-yard attempt in the second quarter.
Dorian Thompson-Robinson was 8 for 12 and just 65 yards in the first half before leaving the game in the second quarter with what appeared to be a knee injury. He was replaced by Chase Griffin at the end of UCLA’s third drive of the half.
With Felton out, Brittain Brown has run the ball eight times for 53 yards to lead UCLA while DTR added 46 yards on nine carries.

I do think it's pretty impressive that we managed to play our entire season without having to cancel any games. Not many teams in the country can say that, and I think Oregon State is the only other Pac12 team to do so. It does sat a lot for the discipline of the players and staff.
The general point is that SC has a lot more talent. Our team has been developed nicely. The OL is outstanding. And then the 4th and 1 call, fake punt or no fake punt? That’s what’s so infuriating. The progress is very noticeable and then we get in our own way.
I’m a watch till the bitter end. What a weird year.
It’s what we do. We’re Bruins.
gluttons for punishment
Back to back sacks! Nice to see some intensity from the D to start the half.
Looks like Norwood is back from the bathroom
Looks like Chase Griffin gets the ball.
Shot of DTR in crutches on the sideline...
Yep. Not pretty.
nice run, son
Touchdown!!
Touchdown!
Seven runs and one pass I think on that drive.
Worked
Looks like Keegan Jones is next up
Looks like we decided to block.
Nice Gates pick!
Yes! Great break on the ball!

And maybe having UCLA Medicine next door with all of that expertise?
First interception of furd this year. Who is this Gates kid?
He used to carry Holmes luggage
Looks like Brown and Keegan gonna be a 1-2 punch next year
Brown is a Graduate transfer
I like the new recruit Murrell
Never seen him run
I think he still gets another year because of COVID.
Think you’re right
Rumors right now are he's going to leave after the season anyway.
BROWN!
That sack was 100% on Griffin
We don't have a kicker who can make it from the 31?
Wow! You can't get any more wide open than that!
Touchdown!!!
I prefer Chip’s play calling on 4th and 4 over 4th and 1.
Dammit. I keep forgetting I’m like a minute behind because of streaming.
I was gonna say our D finally showed up, but nvm....
What a pick! Osling played that perfectly!
Osling with a Pic!
Another pick!!!
What craziness is this where our defense is better in the second half?
Norwood was late to the game
Azzinaro asked his buddy Chip if he could call the defense in his last game, but after half Chip let Norwood take over.
Kind of a low bar tbh our D was non-existent first half
But I get your point-- our D never shows up second half...
Whatever happened at halftime clearly had a huge effect on the team
Really feels like a "rally for our hurt QB" situation.
Not that I'm complaining. I like winning more than losing.
What ever works!
Brown destroying the Stanford DB for about 20 yards.
BROWN!
Gotta think someone got in the players faces at halftime.
Chase Griffin is on fire!
Well, it barely got there, but it was good enough!!
yeah, but when you're that wide open, even crappy throws score :-)
He handles the ball well and makes good decisions. That throw was probably at the limit of his arm strength, but it got there.
Touchdown!!!
Cota!!!
Griffin 4-4 2TDs!
Meanwhile, Bama handing Gators their asses!
What a turn of events! 21 unanswered points!
Who knew??
I think we can retire the idea that Kelly just phones it in and is merely collecting a paycheck.
Meanwhile, the idea that he cost us several games with his play-calling in his UCLA career is still alive and well
His play calling giveth and it taketh away. It gets us in position to win and then we get some head scratchers.
I'm still admittedly pissed about losing to our cross-town rivals -_- We were the better team on that field

Well put, Army
And losing to SUC is horrible. Worse is losing to SUC AND Stanford!
Good D series.
Nice run back.
Phillips has become one of my favorite players to watch
Brown time!
Man the run game is clicking this half
Jinx. Damn. Sorry guys.
Wow nice execution on that swing pass. That was blocked beautifully.
D do your thing now!
Taking the FG was a no brainer. 7 point lead with 6 minutes left. Sure would be nice to finish this off.
Yep
Actually it might be kind of fun to have OT for the last game of this screwy year.
But I’d rather win.
Dude...you win the “I called it” award.
Who was that pass to?? Turrble...
Pick 6!!!!!!!
Jay Shaw Pic 6!
TD!
Is Beth calling this from her house again?
Dunno. Probably.
