UCLA Running Back Wants DeShaun Foster as New Head Coach
Sophomore running back Deshun Murrell took to X (formerly Twitter) to voice his thoughts for Chip Kelly's replacement.
While speculation will now start over how UCLA will find a new head coach this late in the offseason cycle, one current Bruin is making his opinion known.

Foster hasn't proven himself yet to make this step. Would look to hire a successful, young innovator that's a HC or OC at a larger program. However, given that we are now stuck at the end of the hiring cycle, moving Foster to interim HC for a year might be a decent choice if there is no quality long-term hire now. Maybe he surprises or, if not, we have a bigger pool of HC prospects at the end of next season. But, unsure where all of the contracts are with current assistants now, so that will be a factor.
