The old moral victory versus a loss is a loss opinion. It is true that there are no moral victories and yet, sometimes a loss does show improvement. Does anyone who remembers the 50-0 drubbing at the hands of USC really believe that all losses are created equal? I choose to celebrate that our defense looked like they knew what they were trying to do. Osa played very well and with great effort. Felton was terrific and the OL is improving. There were fewer false starts and only one holding call, but I don’t think that was from an interior lineman. I was happy to see us play with some pace and physicality. So yes, it was a loss. But there is improvement. Now, let’s stop turning the ball over.
