Hey I'd recommend having all the updates for each set after the first one being on replies to the first one, I think it's easier to follow since you don't need to expand the thread.
What a great day for UCLA men’s volleyball! There were so many amazing individual performances, but it was the team’s execution of the fundamentals—passing and blocking, in particular—that was the key to beating a very strong, experienced Hawai’i squad. David and Knight will be lauded for their attacking productivity, but libero Troy Gooch was consistently outstanding and Norris was a gem off the bench. Freshman setter Andrew Rowan was not at his very best, but he was still very good and played with incredible poise. McHenry didn’t dominate but he got stronger in the later stages of the match. Everyone understood their role and did their part, and as I said after the semifinal win, this team is greater than the sun of its parts.
This team is not finished. It will be here again next year. This is a truly special team—a team, a season, and a national championship for Bruins fans to treasure.
Go Bruins!!!
Shaky start by UCLA, but the Bruins fight back to get to 2-2.
The Bruins are not passing well so far, but the first set is scrappy and UCLA is staying in touch, 7-9.
Hawai’i gets to ten first but UCLA quickly ties it up, 10-10.
The Bruins grab their first lead! 12-11
Champlin hits such a heavy ball! Great kill to push UCLA’s lead to 2, 14-12.
At the timeout, UCLA leads 15-13.
Hawai’i fights back to catch the Bruins at 16 and then 17. The Rainbow Warriors nose ahead, but UCLA reclaims the lead thanks to terrific blocking.
But the lead goes back to Hawai’i after a video review. 18-20, timeout UCLA.
The last point for Hawai’i was the result of a very rare poor decision by Rowan.
Ido David was outstanding in set 1, and Champlin was excellent.
As expected, Hawai’i is extremely tough to break.
The Bruins start set 2 with an ace! But David makes a couple of errors and Hawai’i pushes into the lead, 4-5.
Brilliant roll shot by Knight gives UCLA a lead at 7-6. But UCLA follows with another service error. That’s 3 already in set 2.
Service error 4! for the Bruins. But Champlin delivers to get the Bruins to 10 first.
Ace by David! 11-8 UCLA
Media timeout. UCLA has extended its lead to 4!
Let’s go!
HUGE block out of the timeout! 16-12 UCLA!
The action is paused for a challenge. UCLA leads 17-13.
TV coverage should be changing over now
Going to set 3 after UCLA failed to close out set 2 after building a big lead.
Championship experience is so valuable, as Hawai’i just demonstrated.
Set 3: The teams are trading points early on. 4-4
Too many service errors for UCLA, but neither team has made a run. 6-6
Hawai’i gets to 10 first. 8-10
UCLA evens the set at 10! Then McHenry rips an ace but the serve is ruled out. The call is overturned after a challenge.
Yet another serving error by UCLA, but the Bruins hold the lead, 14-12.
UCLA leads at the media timeout, 15-13.
A mighty block by UCLA ends a long rally to give the Bruins a 4 point lead but there is a challenge.
Challenge upheld. UCLA leads by 2.
Heading into set 4, the Bruins should expect a fast start from the defending champions.
Set 4: Hawai’i hasn’t been able to stop David, but they open set 4 with improved attacking. 3-3
Pancake save by Rowan wins UCLA a point but Hawai’i challenges and the point is given to Hawai’i
Hawai’i challenges another call. I don’t see a touch and the call stands. Point Bruins! 7-6
Sigh. Another service error. Then a block by Hawai’i gives it the lead.
A BIG Bruin block ties it at 8.
Another challenge! The Norris serve looks in but is ruled out.
Challenge won! Ace Bruins!
Whoa! Another ace by Norris!

Definitely, thanks for the updates either way!
I suppose my recommendation doesn't really work if comments are sorted "New First"....
Aww challenge cancelled Rowan's pancake, was pretty otherwise.
Anyone else think that Hawaii's band has surpassed their quota for playing 5-0 theme?
Woo championship
Commentary was funny--fortunately challenge failed so they didn't have to continue after a dogpile haha
Congrats Bruins!
