I think the score in the last 4 games is like 180-45 right? argh. If this is indeed the last game at the Rose Bowl, it seems fitting.

Nico needs to go like everyone else. Not sure that beating UCLA this year makes much of a case for taking over the program, and I would be very suspicious of anyone that actually want's this job without substantial courting. Also, if Jarmond isn't fired, nothing has changed. I'm still hoping that someone with enough power wakes up.

You’re delusional if you think the only problem is coaching. The obvious difference in talent goes from an ineffective offensive line to a non-existent pass rush to a defensive backfield relying on arm tackles. Credit to Nico for effort and taking the shots, but at this point, as a passer, it’s fair to say his inconsistency is what was heard from Tennessee, and he lacks some of the intangibles very good collegiate QB’s have. Doubt he’s back next year anyway. So, hopefully the nightmare ends next Saturday.

Fisch is too expensive and jumps around too much, and his overall record is okay. UCLA needs to hire someone who will invest the time and energy to rebuild this program from the ground up and stick around for a while. IMO that's someone who is hungry to coach in a power five school - someone like a Bob Chesney or Sean Lewis. The program desperately needs a fresh start - all new coaches, players, and most stadium.

I could be wrong, but I believe Jarmond's days are numbered, and have been since September. IMO it would have been a bad move to fire him when all the other coaches left as it would have made the entire athletic program toxic. But rather release him after a new coach, and coaching staff are hired and announced.

I think we'll have a much clearer picture regarding what has really been going on behind the scenes in a couple weeks.

Almost no one hires the new AD *after* the new coach since the new coach immediately becomes "not the new AD's guy" - unless jarmond really has no role in the hire and/or there's an "understanding" who a new AD would be, very, very few coaches would want to step into a situation where the new AD - if there is one - didn't have a role in hiring them...

Of course, if they're playing at sofi in front of a couple hundred people in suites that leave at halftime and empty stands, no one will care anyway

Nobody cares who UCLA suckers into being their next coach as long as Jelly 2.0 and Blockhead 2.0 are in charge. It's obvious Jarmond (aka Jelly 2.0) and Frenk (aka Blockhead 2.0) are incompetent and inept and as long as you have that sort of combination, there isn't any athletic program at UCLA worth a spit. I remember this past June when Frenk said, "I will be hands-on with UCLA athletics because of its importance to the university as a whole." If the football program is an example of his "hands-on" approach. I'll take a pass.

💯Donut Head Jelly 2.0 and Blockhead 2.0 have effectively destroyed the UCLA Brand and Athletic Program.

I had a terrible feeling about Blockhead 2.0 when he hecame Chancellor. It's strange that he left Miami in his mid-70s. And since his move, he has done nothing but align himself with Block Holes, a Donut Head and Donut Holes.

Any Chancellor who wouldn't rid a school of a toxic wonder who now allegedly has committed fraud, tells you everything you need to know about the Frenskter.

Until we clean house at Murphy and Morgan, UCLA is dust in the wind.

I would leave Frenk out of that. Look at the resurgence the University of Miami's football program is enjoying. That's because of Frenk! Give him some time to start moving the right people into place like he did here in Coral Gables.

As I'm pondering the state of UCLA athletics this morning, I think it might be time to open up the Martin Jarmond Athletic Hall of Shame. And I'm wondering what people of infamy would make up the initial class of the Hall of Shame. My first name would be Daryl Henley who was an outstanding DB that ended up dealing drugs and trying to hire a hitman to kill a judge. Now, I don't know if a Hall of Shame is appropriate, but given the state of things, perhaps it is. Anyone else have candidates?

Well UCLA is not like SUC, we typically don't "breed" murderers like the Trogans. But for every person anyone can name that has brought disrepute to the University, I could probably come up with 5 people who have brought honor to the University. Not so for SUC by the way. However, I would say Jelly 2.0 (Jarmond) should not only be a candidate but should be one of the founding members and definitely needs to be in that Hall.

Yes, it was indeed a very creative fake field goal attempt--however, next time I think the Bruins' interim coaching staff will try to avoid giving up the ball for a touchdown going the other way by making this simple play adjustment (watch for it during the U$C game!):

So much for chipper, interim-HC Skipper's reign of inept football--just one final, agonizing loss to endure. The 3 wins during the middle of this season now seem more like a fluke. After seeing this train wreck evolve over the past 10 years, I could imagine the Rose Bowl folks are looking forward to suing UCLA for a lot of money AND saying good riddance to such a dysfunctional football program.
