Spaulding Report: UCLA Football Week Two Media Interviews
We've gathered all the coach and player interviews for you in one place ahead of today's Alabama State game.
Let’s take a quick peek at what’s been getting said at this week’s UCLA football press conferences. I’m just going to share these here all in the same place to make it easy for our readers to watch them if you haven’t already. The videos in this article are courtesy of UCLA Athletics on YouTube unless noted otherwise.
Once again, the week started off with Chip Kelly addressing the media on Monday.
Chip Kelly speaking again on Wednesday spoke to the media again on Wednesday. This video is courtesy of David Woods from BruinReportOnline. I’m going to take to mention that Kelly didn’t seem to know what caused Alabama State to change quarterbacks. While backup quarterback Miles Crawley did play against Howard, he played most of the game against Miles last week because starter Dematrius Davis left the game with a “shoulder burn,” as noted in our Bama State offensive preview and first reported by the Montgomery Advertiser.
Moving from the coaches to the players, Dorian Thompson-Robinson and Josiah Norwood spoke after practice on Monday.
Tuesday saw two of the new Bruin defenders meet with the media after practice when Duke transfer Gary Smith III and Hawai’i transfer Darius Muasau spoke.
Wrapping up the player interviews for the week, we have Atonio Mafi and Zach Charbonnet.
That wraps up this week’s media interviews. UCLA kicks off the 2022 season at 11:30 am tomorrow at the Rose Bowl.
