"With three wins, Chicago would need the Giants, the Cardinals and the Patriots to each win twice and the Panthers to win.."
Boy, Joe, not any denigrating your column in the slightest, but we sure do know we're on a downward sliding big game year when the speculation turns to handicapping the pros' finishes for college draft picks!
Speaking of over/under, wonder what it is for a UCLA victory and Jarmond *still* giving the Ol' Chipster the boot? As I wrote in a previous comment, I am not all that impressed with the "new" AD's skills given that he's pretty much ignored the crap 33-33 record that's been rung up over six years and punctuating his tenure with *two* contract entensions.
"UCLA: where compromises are made and bad coaches are made rich[er]".
My friend, at this point, I'd like to quote the poignant lyrics of Bonnie Tyler's iconic hit in the early eighties - " ..... Nothing I can do. It's a total eclipse of the heart " And that says it all.
Okay, I have to admit. I'm looking more forward to watching the Cleveland Browns with DTR starting against the Pittsburg Steelers on Sunday then I am in watching this potential freak show coming up at the Mausoleum. Probably won't happen, but I'm expecting the Mausoleum game to be over at halftime!
I do not consider Scott Wolf a good source... just saying. He was at one point banned from covering SC. Score prediction: USC 59 UCLA 51 Gonna be a shootout.
LOL on Ben! We aren't allowed to report injuries at practice....it's in the media policy disclosure and he reportedly did it anyway. You can google it.
As long as we're quoting lyrics, our best chance is likely if the conditions evoke Bob Dylan literally as opposed to the metaphor he intended when he sang "And it’s a hard, and it’s a hard, it’s a hard, and it’s a hard... And it’s a hard rain’s a-gonna fall"
I’m torn. If as seems likely we get tattooed Kelly’s outta here. But if we win it’s still $C…

What are we doing for a basketball game thread tonight?
Hopefully Jarmond isn't inept enough to keep Bozo Kelly as HC.
FWIW Da Bears have the Panthers' first round pick next year - hence the Riley-Caleb package deal speculation to Chicago

Man what is with USC and banning reporters?
At least Chip has to listen to Ben Bolch’s snarky commentary at every media session, and you don’t see him blocking access

All good...I haven’t read anything from Scott Wolf since I was out of college 😂

Let's hope for The Times They Are A-Changing.
