Thank you The Mighty Bruin staff for the great pregame write ups this week. San Diego State is in the Mountain West Conference. Enough said. 7-6 last year. Challenged. I love their head coach but quite frankly on paper this game should not be close.. Their defense is a mirror image of UCLA's in the two games they have played this year. Good rushing defense. Terrible passing defense. It's a sold out venue in San Diego (35000 max). Should be a very entertaining game. Chip will somehow make this game close. I hope I am wrong. I have Spectrum so I bit the bullet today and got a week's free subscription on FUBO to watch the game!!
Now we have to be wary about SDSU ?!? Hmmm .... I am going to stay positive. Good or bad, let's win it one game at a time. What needs to be said has been said time and again. So boys, do us proud tomorrow.
If Chip thought the planned QB rotation was affected by the new clock rules last week, it's likely to be even more affected this week since SDSU is going to shorten the game with a heavy dose of run plays, almost like "Service Academies Light"...
I also appreciate the write ups and the info - this projects to be a good matchup for our strengths vs SDSU's weaknesses and vice versa but this going to be the biggest game in the short, problematic history of Martin Stadium South (little G5 house that it is) so let's hope we take away their emotion early... Go Bruins!
