Indiana is a legitimately good team but it's hard to tell how good because they have a very soft schedule until the Big 10 championship, as does Ohio State.
I gotta disagree a bit.....I watched the IU @ Oregon game from start, through 3 quarters, and Hoosiers knocked the Ducks around like the were an community college team. The Ducks were near-totally over-matched from a size perspective, and the IU roster - across both sides - was just as fast and coordinated, but had clearly BIGGER PEOPLE! - Hope not, but this could be the massacre people expected from the Penn St. game; Indiana is L.O.A.D.E.D!
Ummm at the end of the 3rd quarter the Ducks were down by only 7 points to the Hoosiers. Don’t know if we can agree Oregon was overmatched. I will agree winning against a good Oregon team on the road was impressive.
Oregon has not been all that impressive and Indiana essentially beat them by one score, and just beat Michigan State this past weekend by the identical score that we did. Indiana is clearly the best team we have played so far and will be a very tough opponent.
In my humble observation, the score was a LOT closer than what actually went down on the gridiron. While not a huge difference, IU had 326 yards of total offense to 267 for the Ducks. IU's defensive front overwhelmed Moore, w/6 sacks; he'd been sacked once in 150 previous drop-backs this season. IU totaled 9 QB pressures, and Hoosier linebackers combined for 5 1/2 tackles for loss. Indiana's rushing defense held the Ducks to 81 yards on the ground at 2.7 yards a carry. Both of the Ducks second-half turnovers were forced; IU's secondary neutralized deep passes, forcing short screens that their defense quickly smothered. To say UCLA will have their hands full, doesn't convey the half of it. GO BRUINS!!
This will be an excellent measure of where we really are. Indiana is a very well coached team with really good athletes. We are the team that I am unsure of at this point, but our defense really stepped up last week, perhaps our team is growing and developing.

Indiana is 25.5 favorite. Would not bet this game because from what I saw of our offense last week, it is hard to think that our offense will score that much. I hope ,as some have mentioned, that Jerry was holding back on plays for this week. Also, still smoldering from my 3 1/2 points I gave to Maryland at Caesar Sports Book.
