UCLA Football Jumps in Both Polls
Despite a week off, the Bruins are moving on up in the polls.

It turns out that, for UCLA football, this week’s winning move was not to play.
That’s because, even though the Bruins had the week off, they were still able to move up three places in both polls due to losses by Iowa State, Texas, and, of course, Southern Cal.
As a result, UCLA now sits thirteenth in the nation in both the AP Poll and the USA Today Coaches Poll.
Let’s look at the both complete polls:
Elsewhere in the Pac-12, Oregon moved up to #4 in both polls after beating Ohio State in Columbus. The only other ranked Pac-12 school is Arizona State which lands at #19 in the AP Poll and at #21 in the USA Today Coaches Poll.
Utah had been ranked, but a close loss to BYU leaves the Cougars in the Top 25 and the Utes on the outside looking in.
Fresno State, the Bruins’ next opponent, received some votes in both polls, but they didn’t receive enough in either poll to jump into the Top 25.
Go Bruins!!!

I just noticed that $C dropped out of the Top 25. Please excuse me while I dry the tears in my eyes…
Watched most of the SC game, FURD looked much better and hope they continue on that path. As usual the PAC-12 will continue to beat the heck out of each other and continue to get zero respect from anyone to the right of the Rockies.
