Tyson sandbagged that match so he could get a payout.
Unfortunately for us, college football doesn’t reward tanking, and even if we did we don’t even have the depth on either line to pretend we could do something like that.
Absolutely crazy to see what happened to Carmody and Jeffers. Starting DE Jacob Busic at DT tells you all you need to know.
I am with you 🤣 I was thinking the entire game that I don't like those uniforms. Of course, I am partial to the beautiful powder blue and gold of years gone by. There is no team in the Country that had that definitive powder blue and gold...
This game was lost in the red zone. Garbs is not a great QB. He is serviceable. We blew our chance for 7 too many times and that was too difficult to overcome, especially in Husky stadium.
The whites should have been burned after the 50-0 debacle against SuC. Boring anyway. Right about Garbers, a good kid and an adequate college QB, that isn't enough in today's game. Tough with the personnel loss to the OL and back to pre-Iowa level.
The O line is in trouble. Not sure how we can overcome the loss two linemen. We need a miracle. Garbs is a good kid but his comments afterward kinda stuck with me... he said he needed to get rid of the ball faster and that he essentially needed to manage the huddle communication better. Feels pretty late in the season for those 'revelations.' Idk, losing this game really hurt...
