UCLA Football Climbs in Polls After Stanford Win
Yesterday's win over the Stanford Cardinal earns the Bruins higher rankings in today's polls.
The Bruins were rewarded this morning for yesterday’s win on the road against the Stanford Cardinal.
UCLA has climbed to #20 in both Top 25 polls after being ranked 24th after last week’s loss to Fresno State. The Bruins are now behind undefeated Oklahoma State in the AP Poll and they trail 2-2 Clemson in the USA Today/Coaches Poll.
The only other Pac-12 team to make the Top 25 is Oregon which is ranked #3 in both polls.
Let’s look at the complete Top 25 polls:
There were two other Pac-12 schools who received some votes in both polls, but not enough to be ranked in either Top 25. That would be UCLA’s next opponent Arizona State and Oregon State, which was rewarded for thrashing Southern Cal. It was the first time the Beavers have beaten the Trojans in LA since 1960.
