The UCLA Bruins have moved up again in this week’s Top 25 polls after beating Michigan State yesterday, 28-10. With three previously higher ranked teams losing, the Bruins are now ranked seventh in both the AP Poll and the USA Today Coaches Poll.
Yesterday, BYU, Ole Miss and Texas Tech all lost, leaving just Miami, Utah and UCLA unbeaten. Miami remains in top spot in both polls but BYU’s loss moves Ohio State to #2 while Georgia and Indiana are third and fourth, respectively. The Fighting Irish landed at fifth in the AP Poll, followed by Utah while they flip-flop in the Coaches Poll.
The Bruins are followed by BYU and Kentucky in the AP Poll with these teams trading places in the Coaches Poll. Alabama is now ranked tenth in both polls.
As far as other Big Ten schools go, Northwestern moved up to #18 in the Coaches Poll and they are tied for 20th with Boise State in the AP Poll. Wisconsin’s win over Southern Cal lands them the 25th spot in the AP Poll while the Trojans’ loss knocked them out of the AP Poll and down to 25 in the Coaches Poll. Can someone please find a way to save Lincoln Riley’s job?
Iowa, Minnesota and Southern Cal all received votes in the AP Poll while Wisconsin, Minnesota, Nebraska and Michigan all received votes in the Coaches Poll.
Here are both complete Top 25 polls:

UCLA’s next game will be this Saturday, October 31 at the Rose Bowl against the Nevada Wolf Pack. Kickoff time is set for 1:15 pm PT and the game will be broadcast on BTN.
