Spaulding Report: UCLA Football UC Berkeley Week Media Interviews
As you wait for today's game to kickoff, we've gathered all of this week's UCLA Football interviews for you in one place.
Let’s get right to this week’s interviews and see what’s been getting said at this week’s UCLA football press conferences. I’m just going to share these here all in the same place to make it easy for our readers to watch them if you haven’t already. The videos in this article are courtesy of UCLA Athletics on YouTube unless noted otherwise.
First up is Chip Kelly’s Monday interview. Chip spoke about everything from the demise of the Pac-12 to T.J. Harden’s improvement from last year to Laiatu Latu’s perfomance last week to UC Berkeley’s offense. On the demise of the Pac-12, Kelly said:
I love the history and the tradition of of college football….For this league to this to be the last game that this league has is is sad. I grew up in this league. My first head coaching opportunity was at Oregon and there was so much history and tradition. The League's been around since 1915….
On Wednesday, Kelly spoke a little about today being Senior Day. He also spoke about what stands out to him from the Bears’ defense.
Moving to the player interviews, Alex Johnson, Logan Loya, and Ryan Cragun spoke to the media on Monday. Johnson spoke about the Southern Cal game. He also admitted to being a Swifty. Logan Loya spoke a lot about the $c game and he mentioned that he had rung the Victory Bell. Ryan Cragun spoke about Ethan Garbers’ performance last week and the win over Southern Cal.
Tuesday’s player interviews included Darius Muasau, Duke Clemens, and Colson Yankoff. Muasau spoke about getting out of his comfort zone when he came to UCLA. Muasau also spoke about how his family was coming out for tonight’s game and how he was looking forward to spending Thanksgiving together with them.
Clemens spoke about this being his last game as well as the $c game last weekend. Colson Yankoff spoke about T.J. Harden’s performance against Southern Cal as well as the win last week. He also indicated that he was spending Thanksgiving with his girlfriend’s family.
That wraps up this week’s media interviews. UCLA plays UC Berkeley tonight at 7:30 pm PT in the Rose Bowl. It seems like the best place to play the final Pac-12 Conference football game ever.
