Joe, you had a typo in the title where it says 6-2 not 6-4. You do have 6-4 in the text though. Go Bruins!🐻

Before we get going, I hope people take the time to read this:

https://www.hastingstribune.com/husker_red_zone/ucla-baseball-is-wearing-nebraska-gear-in-omaha-in-this-week-here-is-why/article_64910a1e-635e-4947-bbdc-0ebbd6ab082a.html

UCLA players have been wearing Nebraska baseball gear in Omaha this week to raise awareness for the Team Jack Foundation raises funds and awareness for brain cancer research.

From Coach Savage, “Partnering with the Team Jack Foundation allowed us to use our platform to make a meaningful difference, and we’re honored to contribute to such an important cause.”

Big props to Savage and the Bruins, and also to the Coastal Carolina program, for taking advantage of this week's spotlight and stepping up for a fantastic cause (and a giant wtf to the 6 programs who didn't even reply to the Foundation's request).

This support from the Bruins is especially poignant when you think back to the way the Nebraska football team and fanbase rallied to support our team when we travelled to Lincoln the week after WR Nick Pasquale tragically passed away in 2013. Some rando even wrote an article about the Nebraska response the morning afterward https://www.bruinsnation.com/2013/9/15/4731808/the-morning-after-part-2-nebraska (/shamelessselfplug). So besides this being a great thing to do, it's nice to have the opportunity to return the favor to our friends in Lincoln.

Bruins helping to do good in the world...I love it. #Believe

Now, on to baseball. Go Bruins!!

Weather is not looking very cooperative for tonight's big game, would they push back tomorrow's scheduled day game? I'm looking to see what the schedule is for tomorrow. I know Murray State was eliminated by the first no hitter in 65 years!

Looks like OSU vs Louisville are scheduled for 2pm and it says Arkansas vs TBD are scheduled for 7pm.

LSU beat Arkansas so, I'd imagine the loser of tonight's game would be the opponent.

If a weather miracle occurs and they get tonight's contest in. Would Ucla have to play with games in 1 day? I know in the super regionals I think teams were playing 2 in 1 day if it happened to work out that way.

Finally got the game on TV to see the UCLA pitcher have a pickoff at 2nd get overturned on replay, and then a strikeout to end the 3rd inning.

It's now 3-5 with LSU up, but with a weather delay before the 4th. The announcers say it'll be at least an hour.

Looking a bit bleak for our Bruins.

The delay might help in pushing LSU to change their pitcher.

Tonight's game has officially been suspended. It will resume tomorrow morning at 8 am PT.

Not sure how that will affect the rest of the schedule for tomorrow at this point.
