It’s mind blowing that Texas and Alabama have two losses and they are above us and why is Utah number three and we’re number eight? The bottom line is the next four weeks are key. We do our business like we’ve been doing our business. There should be no problem. I’m convinced that this team is on the threshold of greatness.

We may need to win out to get any respect.

It does seem the CFP Selection Committee wants the Bruins to earn their way into the playoffs by winning out...

They are building in a loss to Minnesota and/or a loss to Indiana in the B1G championship. The play and records will tell the story.

I think what would be more concerning is the opposite--the CFP Selection Committee assigning the Bruins the #8-seed now, and then dropping them out of playoff consideration altogether if the Bruins lose to MN or any other team remaining on their schedule.

But honestly, we need to beat a legitimate team. Beat Michigan at their place and we have a good argument. Still very exciting what we’ve done.

I don’t think I have an issue with Texas, esp if you look at their wins. IDK that UCLA beats them today ion a neutral field, even at home honestly.

Utah is insane to me. They almost lost to Houston and Indiana could easily have 3 more losses. UCLA didn’t win games in OT or on walk off FGs etc … I think that should matter….. which makes ND at 11 ridiculous too. Not like Miami has any great wins and they almost lost too, we didn’t have luck to get a W.

The other problem is SOS being based off rankings is just imperfect when the SEC bias keeps those teams ranked.

In the end we control our destiny so let’s go win some games!

💯

Take care of what's in front of us and it'll all take care of itself.

Minnesota lost to a full strength Mississippi State (before their star QB and top RB got hurt) - they are waiting for us to beat that Minnesota team to establish a "data point" - that and, after last year, may we all find someone or something that loves us like the committee loves alabama!

It will get adjusted because a number of teams ahead of us are going to have losses. Georgia is the team that absolutely baffles me. They lost at home to an unranked team that is still unranked. I mean Indiana lost to Ohio State and other than that they don't play anyone either. ND. lost to BYU. UCLA is perfectly capable of winning out and if they play Indiana they could win the Big Ten. Miami play nobody except ND. This year it's very hard to tell how good anyone is because it seems very competitive this year. UCLA has not had to go to overtime to win like Indiana. I do appreciate Schools like Texas, LSU, Ole Miss, and Tennessee who appear to play much better schedules than Georgia and Alabama. UCLA's defense is as good as anyones. If we can just get our passing game going, we can beat anyone. I certainly was not thinking that way at the beginning of the season or even the first 4 games.

Big name bias is very obvious in this list. Let’s not forget BSPN has a contract with the SEC. And you know they have some pull!

Imagine we go 11-1 lose to SC and that win gets SC into the CCG and we rematch a week later in Indianapolis!

Or how about we get a 1st round game at home to win and then get the Rosebowl game… Rosebowl is probably more excited than anyone to potentially get 2 games in the playoff.

Hope the bruins use this disrespect as bulletin board material. The talking heads on espn and cbs sports are talking about us like we’re a G5 team instead of a team leading one of the top 2 conferences in the country
