UCLA Football Enters Top 25 Polls
After Friday night's win over Washington, the voters in both the AP and the Coaches Poll have shown the Bruins some respect.
UCLA Football is ranked in the Top 25 polls this week for the first time since September 2021 following the Bruins’ big win on Friday over the University of Washington.
The Bruins have entered the AP Poll at 18 and the Coaches Poll at 19.
Washington fell from 15 to 20 in the AP Poll and from 18 to 24 in the Coaches Poll.
There’s a new number one team in both polls as Alabama has swapped spots with Georgia in both. Meanwhile, Big Ten schools Ohio State and Michigan are ranked third and fourth in both polls, respectively.
Other Pac-12 schools in Top 25 include Utah, UCLA’s next opponent, at 11 as well as Oregon which is ranked 12th in both polls. Southern Cal was slotted in at sixth in both polls.
Looking to the future, the only other Big Ten school in this week’s polls is Penn State, which is ranked 10th in both.
Here’s the complete Top 25 from both polls:
UCLA’s next home game will be on Saturday, October 8, 2022 and will feature the #18 Bruins against the #11 Utah Utes at 12:30 pm PT on Fox.

Good for now. We’ll see how we hold up to those Utah lines. I would hope Chip would be drilling the offense to complete quick passes, but that’s probably too much to ask from DTR. I’ll hope for the best.
I hate to say this, but I think it's going to be a bad Saturday for both LA teams. Utah is legit, although at times inconsistent, and USC's defense is Swiss cheese. (Wazzu looks good)
