Re: last year’s UCLA-USC game: “football equivalent of watching sea lions fight”. Classic. Starting off playing Utah will be tough. Historically they have physically abused the Bruins. That said it will be interesting to see how healthy UCLA remains through this tough schedule. I do think we have an upgraded talented group of assistant coaches compared to last year. Let’s see if they can mesh the players to play physical intelligent football.
There were far too many games we have to win in that write-up, which makes me worry about this season. Thinking 5-7 is our ceiling for this year, but would love to be proven wrong!
not sure what to make of this season. But i was happy to hear Petros and Money ripping the state of USC football yesterday. They have resorted to touting their 2026 HIGH SCHOOL recruiting class. It might be #1, but that would have been cool in 2017.
6-6 is doable but sadly 5-7 or 4-8 seems more likely. Anything goes with $C though.
Happy August, RF&W! I hope you and yours are well.
Thanks, looking forward to the season!
