Bruins Climb in Polls After Beating Buffs
The Bruins rose again in both Top 25 polls after their second consecutive win.
After defeating Coach Prime and the Colorado Buffaloes last night, UCLA moved up in both Top 25 polls this morning. The Bruins are now ranked 20th in both the AP Poll and the Coaches Poll.
Washington is still the top ranked Pac-12 team after escaping with a 42-33 win over Stanford last night in Palo Alto. The Huskies remain ranked 5th in both polls. The Oregon Ducks are now ranked sixth in the AP Poll and seventh in the Coaches Poll.
Oregon State and Utah both fell after losing yesterday. The Beavers are now ranked 16th in the AP Poll and 19th in the Coaches Poll while the Utes dropped to 18th in both polls.
After almost losing to UC Berkeley, Southern Cal didn’t move in either poll and they should be grateful they didn’t fall at all. They are now ranked below UCLA in both polls.
Three Big Ten teams are still ranked in the Top ten. Michigan and Ohio State are ranked 2nd and 3rd, respectively, in both polls while Penn State moved up a spot to ninth in both polls due to Oklahoma’s loss to Kansas.
Here are the both complete Top 25 polls:
UCLA heads back on the road next Saturday when they visit the Arizona Wildcats for the last time. Kickoff is set for 7:30 pm and the game will air on Fox Sports 1.

Beat Arizona!
Tangential and O.T., wonder what the over/under will be for "Prime Time" at Colorado? Watched the game last night and the cameras ARE ALWAYS ON THE GUY! (Not that the Chipster is that photogenic; someone ought to buy him a more sporty sweatshirt or polo shirt. He looks like a homeless bum with that great rag he wears!)
I got this bailing wire and chewing gum feeling about Neon Deion. Feel sorry that his one kid got ejected for that hit (rules are rules) and the other kid spent most of the night looking up at the heavens as the sky darkened over the RB. Dunno how many offense plays Colorado ran, but the ESPN stats last time I checked indicated that the Bruin's D hassled him in one way or another some 64 times.
That's pretty good.
And, yes, beat 'Zona!
(..and James Madison? I thought he died in 1836!)
