It's a real missed opportunity for Ucla not to celebrate the invention of the internet. The room in Boelter Hall has a small plaque, that's it. If you didn't know it was there you would not even stop and notice. Plus it's been subdivided so the original room doesn't exist. It should be recreated and celebrated. ESPN has never given any respect to the West Coast and likely never will.

Do you honestly care about ESPN and what it would say about UCLA ? I know I don't, not with their views about certain issues. Let the fact speaks for itself. We are, and always will be, the most revered FOUR INITIALS in US institutions of higher education, those Ivy League school notwithstanding. What makes you think we are the most applied to public university in the world ? Case closed.

I do care about what BSPN does only in the sense that there are a lot of passive people in the sports viewing world who don't know any better and who are expecting to get their news and knowledge from tWWL, and so it's important that BSPN represents U.C.L.A. (and anything west of UT Austin aside from *$c) in an accurate light. It's the usual case of the tail wagging the dog, and in this case the tail is a joke. They don't do a good or fair job either out of laziness, or out of malice because any spotlight on the Pac-12 and western states detracts from their long time ince$tuou$ affair with the SEC. U.C.L.A. and that other school going to the BigTEN and Fox also certainly doesn't help encourage BSPN to do a professional job, but we've been dealing with their unprofessionalism for about 2 decades now, so I'm not surprised they continued to spit the bit on Saturday night.

Good news to wake up to. It looked to me like our linemen on both sides were stung by last week and picked up their game.

I was in attendance.

Nothing feels better, more elated than seeing my alma mater whom we support through thick and thin, rain or shine, Guerrero or no Guerrero I might add ( LOL ) to register an impressive win at a critical juncture of the season. The Oregon set back notwithstanding, this important win reset the momentum, reaffirm the confidence going into the season finale against USC and beyond.

Jubilation, celebrations and post game parties erupted all over Old Towne Pasadena. Traffic on 210 Freeway stalled for miles. Despite the evening chills of Southern California at this time of the year, it never dampened the triumphant spirits of the Bruin fans, me included, as I emptied out a can of beer through the loud cheers of people in my company.

Even in my younger days, beer, alcohol etc were never my thing but I did it last night. Think about that.

We played well. The only thing, I want DTR to get healthy. He seems to be a little beat up and we need him to get to 100 percent.
