What a game! I wish DTR could get some heisman hype after all the success hes had.

That last pick looked like the same play that worked against UW. Why do I think that becomes a hitch and go at some point this year?

Utah 192 yards rushing. BIG change from previous years. And their rushing yardage did not matter when the game was on the line.

Just got home. I stayed in the Rose Bowl until they kicked me out! This team is cooking. Score early and often, it puts so much pressure on the opposing offense. I don’t know why Charbonnet wasn’t allowed to finish the game with 5 or 6 straight runs is the only thing I can think of to bitch about.

Minus the offsides on 4th and 2 and the pick six, it would’ve been a blowout! Either way, pretty dominant win!

This team is for real!

Spent the day in the Den with my son... Great game and terrific win! Defense did enough... Couldn't see the blaylock targeting, at the other end of the field. What a fun day!

"The only thing which kept the UCLA offense from a perfect second half was a late interception Thompson-Robinson threw which went for a Pick Six when Clark Phillips III stepped in front of a fourth-and-five pass and he scampered 80 yards to close the gap to the final score of 42-32."

..the ONLY THING that "marred" these last two victories were the D taking the foot off the gas on the fourth quarter in Washington (allowing them to "double" their score) and DTR's pick-off pass to allow the Utes to crawl back within 10. But, believe me, I could give a fricasseed crap less because the final scores just mask how truly lethal UCLA has become. Those were 40-16 and 42-25 stuff jobs.

Washington and Utah got handled by a superior team AND THEY KNOW IT. Like you prophesied last week, Joe, the road to USC and the Rose Bowl leads through Oregon and USC -- if the Kellster and his kids can "keep their courage screwed to the sticking place."

But, I got to tell ya, laddies, the Bruins sure do look like they'r having fun doing it!

Certainly a welcome surprise how well this team is playing. On the offensive side, very little to improve, maybe red zone conversions, and false starts, but really rolling. The D is better than I expected, not at the same level as the O, but the transfers seem to be gelling now, and at least making the other team earn it. With the pressure to score that our offense generates, they only need one stop or a turnover to make it hard for the opposition to keep up. I’m hoping Lucy doesn’t pull the ball away at Oregon, but enjoying it for now.

#11 AP & #12 Coaches (with Oregon #12 AP & #11 Coaches) - and, given that #10 Penn State plays a Top 5 Michigan and #6 Tennessee hosts #3 Alabama, more than reasonable chance that we'll start the Oregon game in the Top Ten, at least in the AP.
