The way it works is that he has to be offered the contract. He can’t just choose to go to the G-league. G-league will offer them to who they believe are elite players.

What are the chances he goes to the gleague? I sort of assume that most top 10 players will go the g league each year no?

Baskets, don't worry about the G-league crap until it happens. Just because Nix did it, doesn't mean every blue chip recruit we get will do it.
ESPN says he might reclassify to this upcoming class, which would be huge if true
