It’s been an up and down season for UCLA and Southern Cal. While the Trojans appeared to have thrown in the towel on the season when Clay Helton was fired after just the second game of the season, the fate of Chip Kelly remains undetermined. A loss today will likely go a long way towards deciding his fate.
The Bruins have lost the last two games to the Trojans and they have not won at the Coliseum since 2013. But UCLA’s 3-1 road record is the best in the Pac-12.
More than likely, it looks like the game will go to the team who can force the other to turn the ball over. UCLA has a +4 turnover ratio while Southern Cal’s ratio is -1. That would seem to favor the Bruins.
But make no mistake…today’s game is going to be a war.
Let’s look at the game time weather forecast.
Game Time Weather Forecast
Today’s game will be about as perfect as you can get for the third Saturday of November. It should be a cool 65° degrees and partly cloudy at the Coliseum for kickoff. The temperature should remain pretty constant through halftime before slipping a little into the lower 60s during the fourth quarter.

TFL on 1st. Nice!!
and no pass D on second -_-
Man, I thought we were gonna pick that last pass!
Dammit! Missed tackles left and right gonna be the end of us!
Three short passes, three big gains. Hmm, go figure.
Too many missed tackles!
Third down-- let's go, D!!!
D was lucky to get off the field with only 3 points; we got a lot to clean up before the next series
Two drops by $c inside the 10 forces the short FG. 3-0 trogans
Oh, DTR.... that was a terrible pass
Geez...
If we lose today, we should drop football.
Nice sack-- we needed that!!
Good that Dart's passes have looked terrible so far; keep it up!
Woo-hho!
Great pick!!!
And moronic $c keeps trying to go deep downfield hahahaha
Nice move by DTR to get a few there
OMG are you freaking kidding me?? 2nd pick on DTR today
This game is hilarious.
Again? F...
These errors are acceptable from a freshman. Not from a senior. Put Garbers in.
It was PI... not on DTR
SPTRs
Keep calling those 5 and 7 step drops, trogies
PI again!!
Refs really need to look at how aggressive $C D is-- very handsy today
Beautiful pass and catch!!
Beautiful pass
Refs are a joke
BEAST!!
Strong run!
Touchdown!!!!
Final score: UCLA 54, USC 44
TFD!!!!
Another Woo-hoo!
Really nice throw by DTR to get that over the safety and into the receiver
I actually like seeing Kelly angry
These refs are outdoing themselves. Just pathetic.
I have not been impressed by their RB Ingram so far
How did we miss that tackle?? We were right there in his face!!
Ole'!
