While today’s game could be a tough one, I have a feeling that San Diego State has been putting up video games numbers. As a result, I don’t think it will be as close as everyone is expecting it to be. To be sure, Snapdragon Stadium is a much cozier environment than Jack Murphy/Qualcomm Stadium ever was and that could work in favor of the Aztecs. It’s also possible there could be just as many Bruin fans who either live in San Diego or who made the trip down there for the game. But I do think a large crowd could give SDSU a real home field advantage they never had at the Murph.
UCLA is a big 13.5-point favorite heading into this game. Now, don’t go betting the house on this, but I think that the Bruins will cover the spread today because the Aztecs’ wins over Ohio and Idaho State weren’t very impressive and they are about to face a much tougher opponent in the Bruins. The Over/Under tonight is 48.5 and I’m not quite sure that the teams will hit the over. So, I’m taking the Bruins and the under today.

If there’s one place in the country where the weather might be better than the Rose Bowl, it’s probably San Diego. Expect it to be about 85° and partly cloudy at kickoff. The temperature will drop a few degrees to about 82° around halftime and it should dip some into the upper 70s by the end of the second half.

I don't think so. The players know what's going on. If you have a QB that is in rhythm and managing the game well, they'll understand why Chip is keeping him in there.

Murphy twins are overrated IMO
