My advice to anyone considering doing this...try it!
As someone who did this back on BN for many years (and during way more intense times) it was a really valuable experience and (usually) a lot of fun. Experience isn't necessary. No one here is a professional reporter and you don't need to be. You just need some interest and enthusiasm and ability to coordinate with a small group as fall schedules become a bit more concrete. If you are reading and posting here, there isn't necessarily much more time required, and the more everyone chips in, the better this place is for everyone. Don't tell Joe, but with my daughter heading off to U.C.L.A. this fall and all kids out of the house, I'm quietly considering jumping back in on a limited scale. Join in, friends!
