After defeating Southern Cal for the Pac-12 Beach Volleyball Championship on Saturday, the UCLA beach volleyball team earned the top seed in the NCAA Beach Volleyball Tournament yesterday and they will now get to defend their 2019 title as the top seed in this year’s tournament.
This year’s tournament will again be held in Gulf Shores, Alabama and it will begin on Friday and conclude Sunday.
The Bruins’ first opponent will be the eighth-seeded TCU Horned Frogs. Game time for the first match will be 7 am PT on Friday. UCLA will then play a second match later on Friday with the time and opponent being determined by the result of their first match. If UCLA wins, they will face the winner of the match between the four-seed LSU Tigers and the five-seed LMU Lions. If the Bruins should lose to the Horned Frogs, they will face the loser of the LSU-LMU match in an elimination game.
