The crowd noise was so bad that it reminded me of the Mission Impossible TV series when a dictator would walk onto a balcony and there would be this horrible, fake cheering (yes, I am dating myself!). Mike Montgomery was particularly bad tonight. I wondered if they literally could not find another warm body to fill that commentator seat on short notice. I finally couldn't take it any longer and tuned into Josh Lewin and Tracy Murray. I was really looking forward to watching UCLA play and Montgomery was literally ruining the vibe.
I'm still going to harp on Free Throws. 61% and nine misses. Luckily we didn't need those nine points. We saw an awful lot of bricks thrown up there from the line as the game was winding down. They can't practice free throws? This is a good shooting team.
