If culture is what Cronin has brought, then culture is what will win tomorrow. Post Bona, Oregon should have won, they “were better on paper”. Tomorrow, sans Bona Arizona may be better on paper. I suspect culture will win.
“I think you could make a legitimate argument that Oregon has a talent advantage over UCLA, especially without Clark and once Bona left the game.“ From the author of this article.

Still buzzing after yesterdays win. Great to see such heart from the team and a great statement about Cronin’s coaching. Tracey Pierson at BRO had an interesting article on this and touched in something I’ve been thinking about, which is the recruiting front. I’m a little bit disappointed that we haven’t landed some of our targets, but I’d rather we get quality players with the right attitude, rather than high-star prima donnas. There was a.recent target that chose another school and stated NIL as a key in his decision. While I think we need to be competitive with NIL, if that’s your primary consideration, I’m not sure you’re the right fit for the culture we want.
I also agree with Dimitri that the outcome of todays game isn’t critical. I’d love to see a win, but I don’t think we’re getting a 1 seed anyway (no respect) and I’d rather see the guys go out and have a good time, and get some practice (probably without Adem). Win or lose, these guys are fun to watch and make me proud to be a Bruin.

Oregon was not better on paper. Oregon was not better on paper even if we lost another star.

Again, Oregon was not better on paper. Oregon was not better on paper even if we lost another star. Regardless of what one other person thinks.

"..gutty little Bruins..."
Tenacity. Brilliance. Work ethic. Team work. Awesome. Execution. Respect. Bruins!
I'm so glad I had the privilege to watch these young men play that game. I will forever be grateful.
You said it Dimitri, this was a team win! I hope Bona's Ok, we need his impact.
KenPom has us as the #1 defense in the country after last night
