Well, I said that this game worried me in the article and, sure enough, here we are in the top of the 8th inning and the Bruins trail 3-2. They had bases loaded with no outs in the sixth inning, but only scored one run, stranding three.
Gah. Not the start we were hoping for. Sounds like Karros was ok in his first start, 3ER in 5 IP, though the bullpen wasn't real solid after him, but the lack of clutch hitting was a bigger problem, and the leadoff spot had an awful line (0 for 5, 2 K, 6 LOB). Can't keep leaving the bases full. Hopefully this is a wakeup and the bats will bounce back today.

Bats were better on Saturday in the 8-2 win, but still left 13 on base! Bullpen was shaky too but the game was in hand by then. Bergin was masterful!
